Remembering Komen Race for the Cure

This photo was taken last June when we walked with the E-Team in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Seattle. I felt kind of guilty being there, because I was one of the lucky ones who got off easy, who was cured, and who never had to have chemo or radiation.

But here I am, only a few months later facing a recurrence of breast cancer that is in my bones and liver. This Wednesday we’ll meet with the oncolgist to get a treatment plan, so I’ll be able to post more details then.
